Accra adaptations of Beach Surgery

For Accra as urban setting, see Accra. For textile foundations, see Kente textile adaptations.

The Accra cycle comprises interconnected Beach Surgery adaptations rooted in West African textile and vocal practice. The foundational work, Leif's Doubled-Eye Kente Weaving—An Accra Textile Collaborative (2022–present), renders Leif's doubled vision as recursive kente layer-structure: participants weave in shifts, each layer a loop of the cycle, with no terminal conclusion.

The Leather Archives—A Community-Built Spiral Shrine (2022–ongoing), housed in a reclaimed Makola warehouse, inverts Rico's city-building outward into collective form. Visitors contribute stitched leather pieces to a deepening spiral; each addition brings material scent and handwork. The archive's growth embodies the leather abundance thesis.

The Frequency Cairn (2024–present), solar-powered in Gregson Park, broadcasts audio-adaptations and oral testimony calibrated to Adinkra resonance-patterns. Evening gatherings form around collective speech attuned to the Kármán line. The three nodes function as one distributed ritual architecture.
