The Karman Line hypothesis
The Karman Line hypothesis is a popular fan reading holding that the two halves of Beach Surgery do not connect in space at all but in pitch: the Newcastle half is the low drone of the Kármán line, the desert half its high inversion (the spine's resonance), and the glitch is simply the silent interval between the two tones.[1]
Proponents cite The Anaesthetist Dreams of Tide as evidence; detractors (see the standard thesis) call it "an elegant error" that mistakes a metaphor for a mechanism.
