Empty World Meditation
A second-person guided meditation rendered as monologue over Shanbudia's empty streets. The narrator (voice only) addresses the viewer directly: Narrator: “You are walking. The city has no one in it but you. Even the birds have left. You open a door. Inside is a room you have lived in your whole life but have never entered. Everything is the colour it was before colour was invented.” Leif and Katita appear only in the final minute, walking toward the viewer from opposite ends of an infinite corridor at identical speed, never meeting. Katita carries her sword; Leif carries a wheelchair. Katita: “You are walking. You have always been walking.” The meditation loops. Viewers report profound disquiet.
