Karman (film)
Karman is a 2019 near-silent film that adapts only the empty-world sequence of the novel: a single figure walking a depopulated desert city toward the beach. The dialogue is almost entirely absent; the soundtrack is dominated by a sustained low drone identified with the sound of the earth rubbing against space.[1]
Though Katita and Leif never appear, the film is treated as canonical by most editors for its fidelity to the novel's frame.
