Polish public and community radio has produced a sustained cycle of Beach Surgery adaptations since the late 1990s, rooted in Poland's strong radio-drama tradition and post-Soviet culture of small-circulation experimental work. The earliest known cycle, Chirurgia na Plaży (Beach Surgery), aired across twelve episodes in 1997 on Polskie Radio's late-night arts slot; production quality was deliberately minimal, using found sound from Warsaw streets (the hotdog eatery rendered as a market stall, the car park as echoing underground parking).
Częstotliwość Bez Dźwięku (Frequency Without Sound), commissioned by Polskie Radio Institute and community networks, ran as a two-year durational broadcast, airing fragments and silence in patterns that mimicked radio igloo frequency correction. Listeners reported hearing narrative and nothing simultaneously—intentional.
Dzieci Podwójnej Pamięci (The Children's Doubled Memory) premiered 2024 in Kraków, moving toward guided meditation cycles set in Warsaw's rebuilt quarters. The cycle treats Leif and Katita as figures who have inhabited the same empty place twice, remembering both arrivals at once.
