The Architect's Fault
In the radio igloo, Katita retells Rico the Architect—but the anime deviates sharply. Rico's miniature cities render as translucent x-rays of Leif's body; towns glow crimson inside his ribs and chest. Mylar the surgeon becomes Katita's future self, pressing her hand to "Leif's wall" and opening him from within. As Katita speaks, Leif's doubled vision corrects incrementally. The pressure in his shoulder blades intensifies toward unbearable. Katita: “Every architect has the fault of building where they cannot live.” The wings begin to protrude—invisible to Katita, felt only by Leif. All geometry in the igloo is rendered one-sided, a Möbius echo, reflecting how Rico's tale mirrors itself without seam.
