The Correction Protocol

This article covers the 2019 German-language radio drama. For other audio adaptations, see audio drama.

The Correction Protocol isolates the radio igloo scene from Chapter Four as its narrative spine, expanding it across six episodes to explore Leif's sensory reconstruction and Katita's theory of planetary resonance. Rather than adapt the full story, the work uses frequency-correction as a framing device for discontinuous monologues, technical dialogue, and layered voice.

The production employs voice doubling and phasing to render Leif's perceptual distortion (his doubled vision, the layered versions of the mechanic) as sonic phenomena. “"Dialogue often melts into its own echo, making comprehension itself feel like a medical procedure."” The final episode culminates in an extended sequence where Katita's spoken hypothesis about spine-frequency and Earth's rotation is layered beneath tuning-fork drones and equipment ambience.

Limited broadcast on a regional network; distribution otherwise sparse. [citation needed]
