The Pacemaker Pulse Figurine Series represents the largest bootleg collectible ecosystem within the Beach Surgery franchise, particularly throughout Southeast Asian night markets and online collector networks (2016–2023). Unlicensed resin casts of Leif's iconic external heart regulator—rendered in miniature with obsessive attention to the blinking red diode—circulated primarily through Bangkok's Chatuchak and Chiang Mai informal distributors.
Each figure stood approximately 3–5 centimetres tall, cast in opaque or translucent resin with chrome-finish bases. The red diode variants proved most coveted: some featured a genuine LED inset (non-functional); others used glow-in-the-dark resin; rare matte-red versions allegedly came from a single production run of unknown origin. Collector speculation points to a defunct Kaew Charoen (Thai resin toy) affiliate, though no verification has survived.
The series' appeal lay in its refusal of official licensing—bootleggers captured Leif's heart-machine as pure object, stripped of narrative context, reducing it to a rhythmic icon and portable talisman. Fandom theorists argue the bootleg's anonymity mirrors the glitch itself: no official origin, infinite informal reproduction, each copy a fractional divergence from an unreachable original.
