The Radio Igloo (Signal Corrected)

The radar igloo sits against red desert like a metallic mushroom, its dome reflecting an inverted sky. Katita: “Raise it to 50 kHz. Just below where a human spine can scream.” As Leif approaches the frequency dial, his doubled vision collapses into single, sharp clarity. The animation shifts to hyperreal precision, almost photographic. Leif: “I can see. I can see clearly.” But this clarity is sterile, wrong. The sound of the earth rubbing against space nearly ruptures the dome's windows. Katita: “Don't trust it. Clear sight is just another trap.” Leif's shoulder blades bulge visibly—outlines of something pressed against the skin from inside. Leif: “Something's trying to grow. Something's trying to leave me.” A white feather drifts down inside the dome.
