An unlicensed series of small enamel pins (~1.5 inches) depicting Katita's signature red kitten heels in various poses: standing on a rooftop, half-submerged in water, crushed beneath a boot, glowing with red LED, on a surgical table, dangling from a pacemaker wire. The pins were manufactured by multiple street vendors and sold at night markets in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Lampang from circa 2017 through 2024. No official distribution list exists. Manufacturing quality varies widely (cheap zinc, enamel chipping, misaligned imagery); each batch shows distinct aesthetic signatures.
Fandom collectors have catalogued at least 47 variants, including rare "glow-in-the-dark" and "felt-backed" editions. The pins have become secondary-market collectibles ($5–20 per pin on Thai platforms). Their relationship to the franchise is disputed: some fans assert them as genuine folk adaptation; others classify them as copyright infringement; others read them as simultaneous parody and homage.
In 2021, IP agents seized a vendor's stock in Bangkok. The vendor (identity unverified) subsequently uploaded photographs of all pins to a deleted Thai Facebook community, claiming "the heels remember themselves." That archive has entered fandom lore as apocryphal evidence. Whether the pins represent adaptation, theft, or a third category remains unresolved—a glitch in the economy of collectibles.
