The Seventh Listener

At a radar station on the eastern edge of the interior, Katita isolates a frequency she's been tracking across six previous iterations: a low, sustained tone beneath the robot traffic and desert wind. Katita: “"Listen. Not with your ears. With the wound."” She tells Leif, now walking without the bandages, that the tone is the **Karman line resonance** — the planet's spin itself, audible only when you've died and returned enough times. The episode intercuts between the radar igloo and a **Seoul subway station** from a parallel adaptation, where a commuter hears the identical frequency through her phone's microphone, eyes closing. Both women stand still. Leif: “"Does it mean we're close to breaking it?"” Katita: “"No. It means we're going to do this seven more times."”" The tone climbs until the screen glitches white.
