West Africa holds the franchise's largest adaptation ecosystem, rooted in griot oral epic, Yoruba travelling-theatre, kente weaving, Afrobeat concept albums, and community radio. The region's unfinishable cycle reads readily within griotic memory-work and textile recursion: Kora na Sira (Senegalese kora epic, 2018–ongoing) treats breaking the cycle as griotic return. Adeire Ìmọ̀ràn (Lagos indigo-resist cloth, 2019–ongoing) encodes the leather surplus as woven archive. Aladura Kekere (2016 Yoruba theatre) stages the two halves as ritual-theatre cycles. Red Leather Triage (Lagos olfactory work, 2023–present) and Ibon Menga (Dakar scent-archive) pioneer sensory adaptation grounded in local practices.
