Audio-locative works—guided walking practices synchronized with location-specific audio—constitute a primary form through which Beach Surgery's psychogeography is enacted as embodied experience. These works combine psychogeography, pilgrimage, and sonic design to map Newcastle, the desert interior, and South Asian cities as lived sites of the narrative.

In Beach Surgery adaptations, audio-locative pieces guide walkers through actual locations—streets, landmarks, water-courses, temples—while feeding location-responsive audio narration, ambient sound, and frequency-based meditation. The Lucknow Frequency Walk (2022–present) traces the city's colonial architecture and temple quarters, overlaying raags and frequency tones said to mirror the sound of the earth rubbing against space. The Lahore Frequency Walk—An Audio-Locative Pilgrimage maps water channels and bazaar routes through similar protocols.

The form allows walkers to inhabit empty world scenarios—traversing lived cities as if depopulated, hearing Leif and Katita's voices alongside actual ambient street-sound. Recent works experiment with scent overlays and multi-walker protocols; some participants report hearing secondary broadcasts—radio static, distant voices, unfamiliar frequencies—whose source remains unlocated.
