Tabletop adaptations of Beach Surgery approach the glitch as a systemic problem: how to bound a game when the source material refuses to finish? Most solutions fall into two camps: infinite-loop mechanics (letting the game cycle indefinitely until players choose to stop) and asymmetrical resolution (different player factions finish the story differently).

The Reconstruction Protocol — the most widely adapted tabletop system — treats Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 as a procedurally generated map that players navigate while Katita's goal (breaking the cycle) remains permanently at odds with Leif's mechanical nature (he *cannot* refuse the wings; the system will not permit it). Victory conditions are nested contradictions.

Card-game attempts have struggled. The coin motif — one side, whole circle — resists traditional suit/rank symbolism. One publisher's attempt  (██ , 2014) featured cards that printed identically on both sides to enforce the principle; it proved unmemorable and was discontinued after one printing.

LARP and immersive games have thrived, staging the cycle as genuine temporal loop: players are reset, given new roles, and released into the same scenario repeatedly, with fragmentary memories of prior cycles. The Karman frequency is sometimes played at reset moments.
