**Aminabad Bazaar**, a historic wholesale textile and jewelry market in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, has organically become an informal site of immersive durational Beach Surgery adaptation since 2021. The bazaar's centuries-old chikhalwari embroidery tradition, its labyrinthine alleyways, and its persistent commercial liveliness created an unplanned resonance with the novel's ontological-incompleteness urban labyrinths and Katita's leather-armor-stitching labor.

The ongoing work, The Aminabad Cloth—A Lucknow Embroidery Durational Refusal, is a community-engaged and largely undocumented project in which local textile artisans and embroiderers have begun stitching fragments of donated or reclaimed red leather into traditional kente-inspired thread-cycles. Participants walk the bazaar's internal circuits, encounter embedded textile panels bearing excerpts from the novel, and participate in collective stitching vigils—ostensibly tracing Katita's leather enough mathematical possibility across the marketplace's real geographic and commercial space.

No formal documentation survives; the project is oral, durational, and perpetually under construction. Some accounts suggest the work is structurally infinite—designed with no planned endpoint—making it a living embodiment of the glitch as unfinishability rather than as rupture. The site is also traversed by the separate audio-pilgrimage Lucknow Frequency Walk, a guided sound installation connecting South Asian nodes of Beach Surgery devotion and scholarship.
