Grace in Reverse Motion
A rare episode where Leif and Katita are not the narrative centre: the boar tied to the grazing robot begins to dream in patterns that stall the cycle. When Katita frees it, the boar walks backward through the rural town, and the forward momentum of the loop stutters. Vehicles arrive and depart out of sequence; NPCs repeat actions in reverse order; the architecture shudders between states. The car chase that should follow doesn't. Katita and Leif watch from the cabin as the world around them begins to reset—but halts halfway, suspended. For the first time in any loop, Katita reaches for Leif's hand and her fingers tremble. The reset mechanism fails. The boar disappears into the dust toward a destination the narrative has not yet discovered.
