Infinitely Expanding Issue
This article is about the serialized comic. For related constraint-based work, see Constraint-Based Narrative Adaptations.
A monthly serialized comic exploring adaptation and impossibility through a narrative that perpetually grows but never resolves. Each monthly issue adds chapters, visual layers, and subplots; no final page exists. Readers receive an evolving object, never a closed text—a formal embodiment of the glitch itself.
The story (unnamed protagonists until Issue 8; later Leif and Katita analogues) navigates a recursing city where streets rearrange between readings. Panels may be reprinted with revised layouts; continuity is unstable. Reading order is non-canonical. The leather accumulates as a visual motif across pages, stitched panels bleeding into one another.
Constraint Protocol
Each monthly issue adds exactly 28 pages. Previous issues are reprinted with revised panelling; correction and multiplication occur simultaneously. Readers must collate all editions to approach a "complete" version that remains incomplete by design. The collective maintains a live collation archive; last verified ████ .
The work has been read as a formal refusal to conclude, positioning unfinishability as an ethic of care rather than failure.
