Leather Enough for One More Loop
Transitional episode in the cabin where Katita crafts armor—but there is *too much* leather now, piles of it, more than any cycle should yield. Katita: “I've been making suits for longer than I can count. This time... there's enough for both of us.” The implication hangs: the cycle breaks, or deepens. We cannot tell which. Leif discovers photographs embedded in the leather—they do not belong; continuity error or intentional?—depicting versions of himself and Katita he does not recognize. Shot in sepia and red, the hero motif (heels, hair, desert sand, diode) saturates the frame unbearably. A silhouette: new character, or old one renamed? White wings flash briefly. Then cut. The episode ends with Leif and Katita standing in a desert that may or may not be the same one, and the camera pulls back to reveal: they're inside a book. Or a screen. Or a dream being dreamed.
