Leather Stitched for the Seventh Loop

The cabin sequence from Chapter 5: the episode focuses obsessively on Katita's armour-making, each stitch rendered in extreme close-up. Needle and leather. Leather and leather. Katita: “"Enough for one. Enough for two. Enough for seven."” Her hands move in ritualistic rhythm, stitching patterns that might be words, numbers, or nothing at all. Leif builds the rocket cart in the background, his work soundtracked only by the whisper of the needle. The camera reveals, gradually, a stack of identical suits in the corner — preserved leather from previous loops, now material for reinforcement. The suits are subtly different: each one slightly heavier, more complex, as if she is building toward something. Katita: “"By the tenth, the seams won't hold. By the twelfth, you'll be flying already."” She holds the finished suit up to the light: a garment of compressed memory, each stitch a previous version of this moment.
