Leif: “How many times have we been here? How many times have we built this armor?” Katita: “Enough times that I learned to prepare.” The implication of recurrence becomes explicit; they have looped before. Will loop again.
The volume's emotional pivot arrives when Katita, alone, proposes: Katita: “Hey Leif. How about you and me make a baby.” Rendered without fanfare—a simple panel, quiet lettering—it reframes the entire narrative. Not escape. Continuation.
