The Karman Whisper

Presented as ASMR meditation guidance, The Karman Whisper layers ambient soundscapes and binaural breathing exercises over locations from the Beach Surgery narrative. Episodes 1–3 appear innocuous: Newcastle rainfall, underwater resonance, desert wind.
From Episode 4 onward, listeners report a persistent sub-audible drone beneath the meditation framework. Creator posts clarify: the frequency was present from the first episode. The podcast did not generate it; the podcast trained the ear to perceive it.
Episodes 7–12 restructure entirely. The creator invites listeners to record the Karman frequency in their own environments and submit recordings. A crowdsourced Karman Catalogue accumulates: thousands of location-specific frequencies, each slightly distinct, creating interference when layered. The final episode consists entirely of overlaid submissions — a global chorus of pressure waves, each out of phase.
The series concludes without resolution. Submissions continue accumulating on an archived server. [citation needed] Some are dated after the series formally ended.
