The Rocket Cart Ascends
Leif and Katita build the rocket cart in a montage of welding sparks and impossible geometry — each rivet a decision, each panel a memory. Leif: “"Will it fly?"” Katita: “"It will crash. But first it will fly."” They load the cart with supplies and begin descent toward the beach at the city's mouth. The final minutes shift into rotoscoped dreamlight: the cart accelerates, the world dissolves, and Leif's **white wings** begin pushing through his back in slow motion — but they *fold*. He is holding them in. Katita: “"Don't let go."” The cart reaches the beach. The sunrise is wrong — too red, burning too long — and Katita's laughter becomes a scream. Leif: “"What is your twelve-word question?"” The screen cuts to black. Text overlay: "THE CYCLE CONTINUES."
