A five-season radio play series broadcast on Radio Kassan, a Moroccan community station, that recasts the cycle as the five daily calls to prayer (adhan) and the temporal spaces between them. Each episode opens with a processed, time-stretched recording of the adhan—the Islamic call extended to ten or twenty minutes through electronic manipulation—serving as a threshold into the story-world.

In the adaptation, Katita is a midnight-radio host and Leif a migrant construction worker arriving at dawn prayer; their dialogue unfolds in the dead airtime between calls. The glitch manifests as a moment when the adhan loops backward, the prayer reversing into silence. The external pacemaker is synced to the rhythm of the prayer-call itself, beating out of phase with the adhan, creating a sonic dissonance audible as distress.^[1]

Scholarship debate continues on whether all 32 episodes completed production; several later broadcasts are "widely believed never to have aired."[citation needed]
