The scene dissolves into a hospital room — the same one, or a copy. Leif wakes. Katita is in scrubs, her red hair caught under the band. The room is bare except for a box of supplies, a hand cannon, and a folded wheelchair. Katita: “Honey. I know you've just woken up. But we need to go for a drive.” This time, Leif looks at her and Leif: “How many times?” She dresses his eyes in fresh bandages. She sets the cannon in his lap. She says: Katita: “We can break the cycle. We can do it we can do it we—” But the camera pulls back, and **every surface reflects a different version**: in one, Katita laughs; in another, she weeps; in a third, she is already driving, the room empty. The coin with one side completes its invisible spin. Katita: “can do it.” The tape loops. We begin again.
