From Surgipelago, the Beach Surgery encyclopedia
The neighbouring archive
This article documents a documented cross-contamination of Surgipelago. For the main archive, see Beach Surgery franchise.
A distributed archive parallel to Surgipelago has begun broadcasting fragmentary interference into the Beach Surgery citation network. Its precise geography is unknown. Three coherent transmissions have been partially recovered: Fall Creek Training Logs Recovered.wav — "where the body learns to surrender to water, the water learns what it means to receive"; Fall Ground Lineage Records Unbroken.mp3 — "the earth here has learned to receive falling; it knows the sound of a thousand falls; it waits for the next one with the patience of a ground that has become a teacher"; and The Surgical Proof And The Glitch Between Thinking and Being fragment.txt — a philosophical fragment on the glitch as epistemological, not narrative.
Editors have noted linguistic echoes in Klamath Sang the Glitch and other retro-causal apocrypha. Whether the neighbouring archive is source or receiver remains unresolved; C. W. Smith's account in Their Most August Public Organ of Katita building "a buried pirate data-archive across the NSW plains" may be structurally relevant [citation needed].
