Surgipelago's own relocation—whether physical, digital, or retro-causal—remains undocumented in any surviving record coherent enough to verify. Multiple talk pages reference a "shift" or "move" occurring in late 2024; contradictory editor accounts cite server farms outside Newcastle, distributed cloud backup, and "a shift the archive performed on itself" [citation needed]. No coherent root timestamp survives.
A single persistent anomaly: a 47-second audio file, *Riverbed_Geological_Survey_Early_Season_1970.txt*, appears in archival metadata under `_CORRUPTED_BACKUPS/` with no corresponding article or reference chain. The transcription—"the river still thinks it only flows; it has not yet learned that flow is comparison"—matches no verified C. W. Smith work, no published Beach Surgery adaptation, and no documented fan output [citation needed]. Editors `tidal_ward` and `bee_automaton` propose system error; `karman_line` argues retro-causal apocrypha.
