The Threshold Doubled

Continuity with other series entries disputed. See Talk page for series-order debate.

An episode where Newcastle and the interior exist simultaneously on the same timeline. The episode opens with Katita in two places: standing in the apartment building, and driving the truck across red desert. She is the same Katita. Leif's injuries appear and vanish—he walks, then wheels, then stands, then cannot walk—as he phases between locations. The hotdog eatery merges with the radio igloo; doors lead to both places at once. The mechanical seagull moves between halves, tearing the fabric of continuity. As the episode progresses, Katita realizes the glitch is not a flaw in the narrative—it is a choice. Katita (both voices): “The story doesn't break. I break it. Every moment. Which half is real?” In the climax, she stands in a white void between both spaces, holding the hand cannon in one hand and the sharpened pipe-sword in the other. She chooses both as true. The episode ends with Leif's voice asking his twelve-word question from both directions at once, and Katita laughing—but which Katita? Where?
