Harare, capital of Zimbabwe, emerged as a significant node in the global Beach Surgery adaptation and pilgrimage network in the late 2010s. The city's rich tradition of marionette theatre and durational performance provided a natural substrate for Empty World Meditation sequences and cyclical retellings.
