The eruption and flight of the wings is one of the most interpreted and adapted moments in the Beach Surgery franchise. In the embedded story, Leif experiences the sudden eruption of white wings from his shoulder-blades at the climax, allowing him briefly to fly before a catastrophic crash from which Katita must resurrect him to restart the cycle.
